*Action Sports will hold an open practice from 10:00am to 5:00pm on our incredible motocross track on every Sunday following our Grand Prix events. For safety, practices will be separated as needed. Minis and motorcycles 10:00am to 3:30pm - $20. Youth and adult ATVs 3:30 to 5:00pm - $10. Free camping Saturday night for Saturday GP riders.

The Action Sports Grand Prix Series will consist of 8 events. Ridrers must compete in 5 events in the same class to be elligible for series awards. The riders best 6 finishing positions in the same class will count toward series awards.

A special award for each class winner and contingency product and or certificates from our sponsors will be awarded to the top 5 riders in each class.

All Grand Prix Series events are scheduled on Saturday. We will attempt to reschedule the race on Sunday if a rain out should occur. If a race is canelled and cannot be rescheduled the number of races that are considered for series awards will change.

Action Sports started the Grand Prix craze in November of 2003 at the Action Sports Center in Nelsonville, Ohio, which is now Fast Traxx.  We will hold 8 Saturday Grand Prix events in 2012.  Action Sports will not require AMA or district membership’s in 2012.

Our GP race course is as fun as it gets. It combines a mix of rolling natural terrain motocross, wide flowing harescramble trails, twisty open woods sections and a few steep hills. The entire course is youth friendly as our 65 and 85 riders compete on the entire course. Our 50cc mini cycles and mini quads have a shorter easier course. Our track goes from moto to woods about four times per lap. The entire track is nearly 10 feet wide, in fact we drive our water trucks on most of the wooded sections to keep the dust down on hot sunny days. We are also very spectator friendly and can see the riders 4 or 5 times per lap. We have excellent dust control, fenced spectator areas, and a good PA system so we can keep everyone informed of the days racing action. Check out our website for a video lap of our track before each of our events. We change the track from time to time to keep things interesting.

We will hold a motocross practice after every GP, weather permitting.  We will move our GP events to Sunday if we get rained out on Saturday.  Always call before you haul!!
