Action Sports started the Grand Prix craze in November of 2003 at the Action Sports Center in Nelsonville, Ohio, which is now Fast Traxx. The new Action Sports Moto Park is located on Salem Road in Athens, Ohio. This is where we conduct our Grand Prix events and the Team Harescramble World Championship.

The Action Sports GP race course is as fun as they come. It combines about a 50 / 50 mix of rolling natural terrain motocross and wide flowing harescrambles. It includes a great deal of twisty open woods sections and rolling hills. The track goes from moto to woods about four times per lap. The entire track is at least 10 feet wide; in fact we drive our water trucks on most of the wooded sections to keep the dust down on hot sunny days.

Spectators can see the riders 4 or 5 times per lap from our fenced spectator area. We also have a good PA system so we can keep everyone informed of the racing action.

We will do our best to let you take a virtual lap to preview the track from start to finish a day or two before each race on our website. We will try to have a different track layout at every event as well.

We have plenty of flat parking, and concessions.

Make sure you get signed up in time to start your race. Although problems can occur we do our best to run on time, put on an enjoyable, organized event and give you your money’s worth.
